MRI
MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) scan is a safe procedure that uses magnetic fields and radio waves.
We use a total-body tomographic machine with a super-conductive engine that operates at a high magnetic field (1.5 tesla), it has a half open architecture according to the most recent design techniques.
We perform the following body district scanning:
- nervous system: brain, pituitary, pontocerebellar angle, encephalic trunk, spine.
- head and neck: orbits, facial bones, temporomandibular joint.
- musculoskeletal system: vertebral column and all the joints, MR arthrography technique.
- neck.
- thorax and breast.
- abdomen also with cholangiography MR technique.
- male and female pelvis.
- angio MR.
